土生土長的香港人，現於香港某預科書院執教的英文老師。在恩師薰陶下，自中四起愛上英文，熱衷鑽研語法，最愛閱讀英文詞典。經歷會考和高考，進入香港大學修讀英國語言文學和語言學，再赴笈美國研習語言及認知科學，最後回港投身教育。執教八載，最愛上堂教學生遣詞用字和句法結構，亦愛與他們討論咬字發音和語言邏輯。常歎在香港荒謬的課程改革下，學生既不懂語法，也不能我手寫我心。希望在家庭和工作外付出一些時間，分享我對英文的少少認識，為香港的語文教育留下一點貢獻！

Boy Scouts of America Lift Ban on Openly Gay Scouts

Scouting is a rite of passage for many American youth, but until now, openly gay boys were prohibited from participating in the century-old Boy Scouts of America (BSA) organization. In a controversial vote on Thursday, the group’s National Council approved a resolution to lift the ban on granting membership to homosexual youth, though the ban on openly gay adult leaders remains in effect. The new policy will become effective on January 1, 2014. Supporters of gay rights are applauding the move, but not everyone is pleased. Some individuals have resolved to sever their ties with the organization, and it is possible that some faith-based organizations will do the same. Discuss
